A high-speed clash turned into a physical altercation at the NASCAR All-Star Race in North Carolina on Sunday night. Drivers Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Kyle Busch were involved in a fight that extended to their crews after Busch bumped into Stenhouse on Lap 2, causing a crash that eliminated Stenhouse from the race.

The incident began when Busch's car collided with Stenhouse's No. 47 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, sending it into the wall and out of the race. Frustrated, Stenhouse parked in Busch’s pit box and waited for the race to finish. Post-race fireworks escalated the tension as the two drivers were seen arguing in the garage, leading to Stenhouse throwing a punch at Busch.

Footage shared by NASCAR showed Stenhouse visibly agitated as he confronted Busch, who defended himself by saying, “We all hit each other.” The argument quickly turned physical, with crew members intervening and also throwing punches.

In a post-fight interview with FOX Sports, Stenhouse expressed his frustration: “Kyle and I have always raced each other really hard. I wrecked him once at Daytona, and he’s been bad-mouthing me since. I don’t know why he was so mad. He hit the fence and ran into me. He kept saying I wrecked him, which built up my frustration.”

No serious injuries were reported from the fight, and NASCAR stated that any penalties will be determined by Wednesday according to their standard procedures. Busch finished 10th in the race, while Stenhouse placed last. Joey Logano won the race, taking home the $1 million prize.
