Charles Okocha, a renowned actor, responded vehemently to accusations made by Portable, a musician, regarding an alleged fraudulent act amounting to 20 million Naira. Portable publicly claimed that Charles Okocha swindled him out of a 40-million-naira ambassadorial deal, sparking a heated dispute between the two.
However, Charles Okocha vehemently denied these allegations, asserting that no contract had been signed between him and Portable. He clarified that Portable had approached him seeking assistance due to a lack of collaborative opportunities. To support the musician, Charles flew Portable and his entourage to Abuja, covering their accommodation expenses at Transcorp for a two-day stay.
Expressing his dismay, Charles disclosed that upon Portable's departure, he gifted the Zeh Nation executive 5 million Naira as a gesture of goodwill. Yet, to his dismay, Portable repaid his kindness with disloyalty. Charles lamented Portable's attempt to tarnish his reputation, accusing him of ingratitude and attempting to ruin his standing in the industry.
